T-type clamp is mainly used for overhead power line or substation, leading down current branch in "t" mode on the main line of bus. It can be divided into two types: bolt type and compression type. For small cross-section conductor, parallel groove clamp or clamp pressed elliptical connector can be used as T-type connection.

The meaning of letters and numbers in the product model is as follows:

The number indicates the nominal cross-sectional area of the applicable conductor.

The grip force of T-type clamp on conductor shall not be less than 10% of the calculated breaking force of conductor, but bolt clamp shall not be less than 3% when the diameter of conductor is greater than 49mm. The DC resistance of clamp is not greater than that of equal length conductor, and the temperature rise of current carrying is lower than that of conductor.

T-clamp with voltage of 330kV and above is used, and there is no visible corona under 1.05 times of maximum operating voltage.
